Jacques Abbatucci settled at the heart of the Taravo Valley ( la Vallée du Taravo), in South Corsica in 1986 as a young farmer. In 2000, he became one of the first farmer working in the organic agriculture in Corsica and in 2006, he created the brand "Vache Tigre" ( tigre cow). In 2016, he launched the "first farm slaughterhouse of France", which will enable him to control the entire supply chain while managing its environnmental impact : from forage cultivation to packaging. A first in Corsica. The special attention given to animal welfare and respect for the animals results in exceptional veal meat with delicious aromas of the corsica maquis.
In 2021, the first farm slaughterhouse in France has been inaugurated on the Vache Tigre farm, which allowed controls of the entire production chain, from forage to packaging.
